研究活動
I have long been interested in using games as an educational tool, specifically when it comes to language learning. I wrote my undergraduate dissertation on the language learning game in FLUENT. More recently, I’ve been interested in the potential of what we think of as “traditional” tabletop roleplaying games in the language classroom as it is an area where little research has been conducted. I have written my masters’ thesis on this topic.

英語を教えることに加えて、私はヨークシャーの学校でLGBTの権利と歴史について教えてきました。そして、私は歴史の再現イベントに参加し、子供と大人に中世の歴史を教えました。
In addition to teaching English, I have taught about LGBT issues and history in schools, I’ve also been involved in historical re-enactment teaching history to children and adults alike.
