自己紹介

I am from the mountainous country Wales, in the United Kingdom. During my university years I studied here at NUFS. Therefore, returning here as a teacher is not only an enjoyable venture but also enables me to give back to the university that taught me. I love Nagasaki because it is a fun, lively and beautiful city. It also has a lot of mountains and is very close to the sea, much like my home country.
I specialise in academic writing and writing analysis and hope to use the experience I have gained to better help the students of NUFS.

私は英国のウェールズという国の出身です。大学時代に長崎外国語大学に留学しましたので、この大学で教える立場として戻ってこられた事は嬉しいという気持ちだけではなく、大学時代に自分が教わった事を生徒に先生として教える事が出来ます。
私は長崎が大好きです。なぜならば、長崎はおもしろくて、賑やかで、美しい都市だからです。そして、私の故郷のように、沢山の山があって海にとても近いです。
英語の文章の書き方やその分析を専攻していますので、その経験を生かして長崎外国語大学の生徒の手伝いをしたいです。

研究活動

For my Master’s dissertation I focused on essay analysis and how teachers analyse essays. I hope to continue similar research in the future in the form of a Ph.D.

修士号の研究論文では、論文の分析や先生がどのように論文を分析するかに焦点を置きました。
将来博士号で、このような研究をし続けていきたいです。
