JASIN：Japan Studies in Nagasaki

All full-time students are required to live in housing arranged or approved by the JASIN Program.

There are two types of home available.

1) Homestay
2) Dormitory

All housing is subject to availability.

Home stay

Home stay with a family in the community provides 14 meals a week are provided. Some students may be moved between two different families for two months each during each term.

1. Monthly fee: 70,000 yen
2. Breakfast and dinner included
3. Entry fee: 35,000 yen
4. Other costs: transportation (Depending on the location, transportation costs can be up to 320 yen per day, with some home stays up to 45 minutes from campus.)
5. Other considerations: Some host families have a lax attitude toward their student's social activities, but others prefer that their students keep a regular schedule.

 

 

Dormitory

①Ampelos women's dormitory
1.Monthly fee: 59,000 yen
2.Breakfast and dinner
3.Entry fee: 20,000 yen
4.Other costs: internet (1,000 yen/mo)
5.Other consideration・10min on foot to campus・private room with toilet + bath
・12:00 midnight curfew

1.Monthly feee: 25,000 yen (includes water)
2.No meals included - kitchen facilities available
3.Entry fee: 35,000 yen
