Unzen Hot Spring and National Park Trip on September 26-27

As part of Fall 2012 Orientation, short-term international students will take a trip to Unzen Hot Spring and National Park on Wednesday, September 26 and Thursday, September 27.

Unzen National Park was established on March 16, 1934, as Japan's first national park. The area features mineral hot springs, hiking trails, mountains, and an active volcano.

Students and staff will stay overnight at the historic Unzen Kyushu Hotel, enjoying the indoor and outdoor hot springs and high-class dining as part of the two-day field trip.
