Japanese Speech Contest on Sunday, November 14

Last year, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Nagasaki municipal government, the Nagasaki Association for the Promotion of Peace, Nagasaki International Association, and Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies Executive Committee sponsored the first annual Japanese International Speech Contest.

This year, the second annual contest will feature ten participants from seven countries who will discuss peace and international exchange. One of the selected participants is NUFS short-term exchange student Tei Gakuei, who will give a speech about the Nagasaki Kunchi festival.

Free shuttle buses will run between Nagasaki Station and the university, and an exchange event (with refreshments) will be held immediately after the contest.

For more information, please see the bus schedule here.

We look forward to seeing you!
