3. Getting around Nagasaki - Prefectural (Ken-Ei) Bus

The Nagasaki Prefectural (Ken-Ei) bus travels throughout Nagasaki, Isayaha, Omura, and Unzen. It is useful for reaching the the Penguin Aquarium (directions) on the eastern edge of the city.

Some areas of Nagasaki that are not covered by the Nagasaki City bus system, such as Motohara (本原) and residential districts near Peace Park, are also served by the Prefectural Bus system. In general, when looking for a route, first try the Nagasaki Bus site, and then try the Prefectural Bus site.
