Dear Parents and Family Members of a Prospective Student:

We are delighted that your student is considering Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies to continue his or her education in Japan. The NUFS International Center will endeavor to help you and your student make an informed decision about studying abroad and to provide support throughout this important process.

For basic information about the university, please see the links in the red bar above or on the Prospective Students and Current Students pages. To learn about our semester- and academic year-long study abroad programs, please see the JASIN and NICS program pages. The International Center website also addresses study abroad options and procedures.

Please note that the application process and tuition and fees vary by your student's home university. Even if your student is not enrolled in an NUFS international partner university, he or she may apply through the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Institute for Study Abroad Programs, which is open to students from any college or university in North America.

English-speaking faculty and staff are available to assist you with any questions or concerns. Please e-mail the NUFS International Center at ic@tc.nagasaki-gaigo.ac.jp.

Thank you again for considering our university. Even a single semester of studying abroad is a valuable opportunity, and we hope your student will have an enjoyable and educational time at NUFS.
