3. Getting around Nagasaki - Togitsu Ferry

The Yasuda Ocean Group runs a ferry from Togitsu to Nagasaki Airport about a dozen times a day between 6:15 a.m and 9:30 p.m. and four times a day between the airport and Nagayo. Tickets are 1,600 yen one way, 2,600 yen round trip, and 4,800 yen for two round trips, and must be used on the same day that they are purchased. Group discounts (for 5 or more people) are also available: 1,200 yen per person one way and 2,200 per person round trip.

To buy tickets and board the ferry, walk north from the Togitsu bus stop until you reach the Yasuda Ocean Hotel. Tickets can be purchased from the vending machine in the hotel lobby; ask a staff member if you need any help. The ferry boards behind the hotel.

 A ferry is also available to Huis Ten Bosch, but it is faster and cheaper to take the bus or JR train from Nagasaki Station (see Destinations in Nagasaki).
