International relations with 64 universities in 11 countries and regions
Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies maintains exchange agreements with 64 universities in 11 countries and regions (United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Canada, Korea, China, Ecuador, Taiwan, Thailand) and an additional 39 program sites in 24 countries through the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). NUFS sends and receives students to further international exchange and promote a valuable educational experience. (Updated May 2012)
Apply from any College or University in North America
In addition to students from partner universities, qualified students from any college or university in North America may apply to study abroad at NUFS through the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Institute for Study Abroad Programs.
USAC Exchange Program (Launched 2009)
In February 2009, NUFS entered into an exchange agreement with an additional 33 American universities through the University Studies Abroad Consortium. Through this program, NUFS receives 15-30 students from American universities annually and sends the same number of students to study abroad in the United States or other USAC-affiliated universities around the world.
